About the Role
Prestigious Consulting Group, a leading global staffing agency located in Lagos, is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Junior Finance Analyst. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting strategic projects, corporate finance initiatives, and vital investment decisions for our esteemed clients across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for businesses, projects, and high-value investment opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, evaluating revenue, profitability, cash flow, and balance sheet health.
- Support business valuation using appropriate methodologies and robust financial assumptions.
- Prepare accurate financial forecasts, budgets, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses.
- Draft compelling business cases, feasibility studies, investment memoranda, and detailed financial reports.
- Analyse company and industry data to identify commercial opportunities, operational risks, and investment considerations.
- Collaborate closely with project, finance, investment, and advisory teams on strategic assignments.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five years of proven experience in Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Transaction Advisory, or Project Finance.
- Mandatory possession of the ACA (ICAN) professional qualification.
- Required FMVA (CFI) or Financial Modeling Institute (FMI) certification.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, business valuation, and financial statement analysis.
