We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estate Surveyor Officer to join our client's growing real estate team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting property management, valuations, leasing operations, and general real estate administration. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine property inspections, condition assessments, and physical valuations.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive property reports, valuation drafts, and market research documents.
  • Assist in managing active property listings, lease agreements, and tenancy documentation.
  • Conduct thorough research on current property values, prevailing rental rates, and emerging market trends.
  • Liaise professionally with tenants, landlords, corporate clients, and maintenance contractors.
  • Coordinate and conduct property marketing activities and prospective client site viewings.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date physical and digital property records and transaction documentation.
  • Support effective rent collection, property management administration, and routine follow-up activities.
  • Monitor general property maintenance needs and report urgent issues requiring immediate attention.
  • Assist senior surveyors with complex estate management tasks and other professional assignments.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Estate Management, Estate Surveying and Valuation, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of cognate professional experience in real estate practice or estate surveying.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of property management, valuation principles, and Nigerian real estate practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
  • Student or graduate membership in relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
