Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Support preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities across our facilities.
  • Work alongside senior electricians to conduct electrical fault finding and necessary repairs.
  • Carry out basic electrical measurements and testing using appropriate industry tools and instruments.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals accurately.
  • Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with approved procedures, industry standards, and specifications.
  • Participate actively in daily toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work activities.
  • Adhere to strict HSE policies, electrical safety requirements, and Oil and Gas industry standards.
  • Report any unsafe conditions, electrical defects, and equipment abnormalities promptly.

Qualifications
  • OND or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant electrical experience, with prior industrial, marine, process, or Oil and Gas background being a strong advantage.
  • Basic working knowledge of electrical installations, motors, control panels, generators, cables, and protection systems.
  • Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and effectively communicate within a multidisciplinary team.
