We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Junior Accountant to join our finance department. Key Responsibilities- Record daily financial transactions accurately and maintain comprehensive accounting records in line with company policies.
- Perform timely bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, and receipts with meticulous documentation.
- Assist in accurate payroll preparation and ensure compliance with statutory deductions and remittances.
- Prepare routine monthly financial reports, schedules, and summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide necessary financial documentation during audits.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional accounting experience, ideally gained within the manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and popular accounting software or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.
- Solid working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, regulations, and statutory remittance procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
