As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. You'll be responsible for managing accounting records, supporting financial reporting activities, and ensuring all transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise in a fast-paced FMCG environment while working alongside experienced finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate accounting records and process financial transactions in accordance with company policies
- Prepare and verify bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and other financial reports on schedule
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring proper documentation and record keeping
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal control procedures
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or similar sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and accounting software/ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles
- Candidates based in Apapa and surrounding areas are preferred
