In this role, you will craft compelling stories, reports, and insights that highlight deal-making pipelines, business milestones, and policy advocacy across all 54 African nations and the global diaspora.
Key Responsibilities- Research, write, and edit high-quality articles, press releases, newsletters, and thought-leadership pieces focused on African business, trade, and investment.
- Conduct exclusive interviews with high-net-worth founders, C-suite executives, and institutional investors within the ACC network.
- Cover high-profile ACC events, executive roundtables, and international summits, delivering timely and engaging coverage.
- Collaborate with the editorial and communications teams to develop content strategies that elevate the organization's brand and policy advocacy goals.
- Ensure all content meets high journalistic standards of accuracy, objectivity, and professional presentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a journalist, business writer, or content creator, preferably focusing on African markets and economics.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and interviewing skills with the ability to translate complex financial and policy concepts into engaging narratives.
- Strong networking abilities and comfort interacting with high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives.
