About the Role
Procept Associates Professional Services Limited is a globally recognized market leader in project management, business analysis, and IT service management best practices. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ITAM Specialist to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing our technology landscape by innovating how we track, manage, and maintain our IT assets and configuration databases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement modern methodologies for managing IT hardware and software assets efficiently.
- Monitor the complete lifecycle of all IT assets and flag non-compliance issues promptly.
- Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and federated asset management databases to ensure high accuracy and dependability.
- Communicate and document dependencies and inter-relationships between configuration items clearly.
- Provide accessible license information to relevant staff and management to support decision-making.
- Leverage available infrastructure data to assist in change planning and impact determinations.
- Create and maintain graphical representations of the company's IS infrastructure to accelerate incident and problem diagnosis.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory ITIL 3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT asset management and configuration database administration.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous eye for data accuracy and compliance monitoring.
