About the Role
HRLeverage Africa is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Technician to join our team in Delta State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining robust IT infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring maximum uptime for all organizational hardware and software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, software, and peripheral IT equipment.
- Provide prompt technical support and assistance to staff and management.
- Maintain stable network operations, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and overall system security protocols.
- Support office hardware including printers, scanners, projectors, and CCTV systems.
- Perform regular system updates, data backups, and critical security patches.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Assist with strategic IT projects and the implementation of emerging technologies.
- HND or BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in a similar IT support or administration role.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in network administration and systems maintenance.
- Relevant professional IT certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCP are highly advantageous.
- Prior experience within Maritime, Marine, or Educational sectors will be a strong added advantage.
- Must be currently resident in Delta State.
