About the Role
Erisco Foods Limited, a leading indigenous manufacturer of quality food products in Nigeria, is currently seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Officer to join our dynamic technology team in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly by maintaining our IT infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and supporting our growing workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and diverse enterprise applications.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize computer systems and internal networks for peak performance.
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients via face-to-face interactions, phone calls, or ticketing systems to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot complex system and network problems, accurately diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults.
- Replace faulty hardware components and peripherals as required to minimize operational downtime.
- Test and evaluate emerging technologies to recommend enhancements to existing infrastructure.
- Provide reliable technical support during the rollout and deployment of new software applications.
- Set up new user accounts, manage profiles, and swiftly resolve log-in or access credentials issues.
- Respond to support call-outs and IT service requests within agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Minimum academic qualification of a B.Sc. Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven post-qualification experience in a dedicated IT support or helpdesk role.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Highly tech-savvy with a proven proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
