About the Role
Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is seeking a strategic and experienced IT Security Planning & Architecture Resources Officer (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will lead cybersecurity initiatives, design robust security controls, and protect our enterprise infrastructure from evolving threats while ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations and assist senior management in defining strategies to protect organizational data from cyber threats.
- Design, document, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions and information security projects in collaboration with the Group Cybersecurity team.
- Integrate security best practices and enforce security requirements throughout the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure sustainable security controls, minimize risk, and prevent data loss.
- Ensure conformance to the Cybersecurity Blueprint/Roadmap and conduct vulnerability assessments and threat modeling.
- Develop, deliver, and measure the effectiveness of regular security awareness training programs for staff.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional work experience, with at least 4 years focused on integrating applications and technology into complex environments.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in security compliance, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
- Proven expertise in Identity Management technology, database security, systems auditing, and wireless/network security.
- Demonstrated experience in Security Architecture Governance, standards, and the full secure software development lifecycle.
