We are currently recruiting a skilled IT Security Engineer to join our dynamic project team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our enterprise information systems, applications, and data against evolving cyber threats while ensuring seamless network performance and robust system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead cybersecurity initiatives in close collaboration with the Group Cybersecurity team.
- Design, document, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions to protect enterprise data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.
- Drive internal and external vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements, managing results to remediation.
- Respond to escalated security events, driving incident response processes for timely resolution with minimal business disruption.
- Manage security tools including firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, IDS/IDP, and anti-malware software.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure operational implementation of security policies and industry best practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an IT security specialization, preferably within a large organization or the telecommunications industry.
- Strong background as an Engineer or Architect in application security infrastructure and network technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, SIEM, vulnerability management, and access control mechanisms.
- Relevant technical training in penetration testing, advanced incident response, and systems auditing.
