About the Role
GVA Partners is a leading business advisory and market intelligence firm renowned for delivering exceptional recruitment and IT solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated IT Security Analyst to join our client's team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the security posture, operational integrity, and availability of essential security systems within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first- and second-level operational support for security systems, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently met.
- Deliver business-critical reports, executive dashboards, and daily insights in coordination with the Group Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, manage application space and performance, and resolve incidents via trouble ticketing platforms.
- Participate in vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, and patch management.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to enforce security best practices and remediation efforts.
- Review and recommend improvements for on-premise, data center, and cloud security settings and infrastructure.
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and industry reports to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity risks.
- Bachelor Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an IT security specialization.
- Prior experience working within a large organization, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat identification, and incident response.
