About the Role
APM Terminals is a global leader in port and terminal operations, dedicated to driving efficient global trade. We are currently looking for a talented IT / OT Onsite Support professional to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will work closely with local and regional teams to ensure the seamless performance of our critical information technology and operational technology systems, directly impacting our business continuity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and office productivity applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for terminal personnel.
- Maintain and support local IT and Operational Technology infrastructure assets to high standards.
- Perform hands-on maintenance and support for specialized equipment including CCTV systems, OCR equipment, biometric readers, radios, and vehicle-mounted terminals.
- Collaborate with regional IT service delivery teams to execute incident and change management activities effectively.
- Ensure prompt resolution of technical incidents within agreed service level targets while maintaining clear stakeholder communication.
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, with relevant industry certifications being a distinct advantage.
- Proven professional experience in providing comprehensive end-user IT support across diverse hardware, software, and mobile technologies.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and OT equipment, such as CCTV, biometric devices, and industrial radios.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incidents, execute technical changes, and meet strict service level expectations.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities paired with a continuous improvement and Lean mindset.
