About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated IT Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation of our technological environment. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our computer systems, safeguarding our network security, and delivering top-tier technical support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, software, systems, and networks while providing responsive end-user support and troubleshooting
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and IP telephony systems
- Maintain robust IT security systems, administer antivirus solutions, and execute preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and timely data backups
- Keep accurate records of IT infrastructure, physical assets, and software licenses
- Support organizational IT policies, risk management protocols, security awareness training, and strategic IT initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar capacity
- Strong technical proficiency in computer hardware, software applications, and network management
- Relevant professional IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or equivalent credentials
