About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a diligent and skilled IT Auditor to join our dynamic internal audit team at our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our technological infrastructure, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence across our multi-sector operations spanning manufacturing, logistics, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, conduct, and review comprehensive information technology audits to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Develop and execute robust risk-based IT audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Audit critical areas including IT governance, security policies, strategic planning, systems development, change management, and business continuity.
- Review local and wide area networks, routers, firewalls, and enterprise internet technologies.
- Utilize Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs), such as Audit Command Language (ACL), for computerized operations and forensic IT audits.
- Verify data integrity, system configurations, and interface controls across production, finance, transport, and warehouse modules.
- Monitor and review cybersecurity controls, including vulnerability management, antivirus deployment, endpoint protection, and patch updates.
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in IT auditing.
- Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or recognized equivalents is a distinct advantage.
