About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools in Nigeria. Founded in 1998 and managed by the First Surat Group, we operate over 16 branches across six Nigerian states, catering to students from Creche up to Senior Secondary levels. We are currently seeking a skilled IT and Technical Support professional to play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our technology infrastructure to support teaching, learning, and administration.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first and second-line technical support to staff, students, and administrative departments across the school network.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, network systems, printers, and interactive whiteboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage user accounts, email systems, and ensure robust cybersecurity protocols are consistently enforced.
- Assist in the maintenance of school databases, learning management systems, and digital learning tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventative servicing on all technological equipment.
- Deliver basic training and technical guidance to teachers and administrative staff on utilizing educational technology effectively.
- A Bachelor's degree or relevant professional certifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated professional experience in an IT support or technical maintenance role, preferably within an educational environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a meticulous approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
