About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is looking for a dedicated and experienced IS Business Partner to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the key liaison between business entities and the Information Systems Technology (IST) department, ensuring seamless alignment of technology solutions with strategic business goals in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the definition and formulation of IS strategy and medium to long-term IS plans for client business entities.
- Provide comprehensive business analysis and consultancy services to identify, develop, and implement effective IST solutions.
- Lead significant business and user-related IT projects, managing requirements, solution deployment, and system integration.
- Coordinate operational maintenance and support for existing IST systems to ensure minimal disruption to business activities.
- Assist requesting entities in software acquisition, development, and interface management while maintaining environment coherence.
- Manage entity shared drives, document archiving, access control, and contribute to the digitization of business IT solutions.
- Oversee business IS budgets, resource requirements forecasts, and ensure compliance with company standards and HSE procedures.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline; an M.Sc. is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of broad IS/IT experience encompassing both development and support roles.
- Extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of oil and gas business operations, activities, and processes.
- Up-to-date expertise on current and developing IS/IT industry solutions and their practical applications.
