About the Role
Alaro City, a premier mixed-income, city-scale development featuring 150 hectares of parks and open spaces, is seeking a skilled Irrigation & Landscape Operations Specialist to oversee our expansive green infrastructure. In this vital role, you will lead the design, management, and optimization of advanced irrigation systems and landscape operations, ensuring our urban ecosystem remains lush, sustainable, and beautifully maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Design, review, and optimize comprehensive irrigation systems including drip, sprinkler, and smart solutions across Alaro City.
- Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of all irrigation and landscape networks.
- Manage landscape construction projects from initial design interpretation to final execution and project handover.
- Lead and mentor irrigation technicians, landscaping teams, and oversee external contractors to ensure strict quality control.
- Monitor plant health, soil conditions, and water efficiency while tracking material usage and assisting with operational budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Irrigation Engineering or a related relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in irrigation and landscape operations within large-scale developments.
- Deep technical expertise in irrigation system design, hydraulics, pumps, controllers, and water management strategies.
- Strong working knowledge of tropical plants, turf management, soil conditions, and sustainable water-saving practices.
- Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to balance office planning and field operations.
