About the Role
Maurice Xandra Solutions is recruiting an Investor Relations Lead on behalf of our client, a leading investment company based in Lagos. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary bridge between the organization and the investment community, shaping market perceptions, communicating financial performance, and articulating our long-term growth trajectory to shareholders and analysts.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies and communication plans to enhance transparency and trust.
- Draft essential financial documents, including press releases, presentations, and annual reports.
- Coordinate quarterly earnings calls, annual general meetings, and ongoing engagements with institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies while aligning communications with organizational objectives.
- Drive the business development budget and foster a sales-first orientation across all internal teams.
- Implement the J10 policy in alignment with board directives within the first year of engagement.
- Conduct thorough market research to analyze economic indicators, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are highly preferred.
- 8 to 12+ years of proven experience in investor relations, financial analysis, equity research, or corporate finance within the financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, investment products, and economic trends with strong financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for crafting compelling reports and presenting complex data to senior leadership.
