We are currently seeking an experienced and analytical Investment Analyst to join our dynamic team and support critical investment decision-making through rigorous financial research, market analysis, and valuation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive financial and investment research across relevant African markets, industries, and potential opportunities.
- Prepare robust financial models, forecasts, valuations, and detailed investment analysis.
- Analyse financial statements, company performance, market trends, and economic indicators to identify risks and returns.
- Perform thorough due diligence on potential investments and review relevant business information.
- Monitor existing investments, tracking their financial and market performance to support portfolio analysis.
- Prepare clear investment reports, presentations, and data-driven recommendations for management and key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate investment records, databases, and analytical reports while collaborating closely with senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Investment Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, asset management, corporate finance, or banking.
- Strong command of financial analysis, investment principles, valuation techniques, and financial markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
- Exceptional research, critical thinking, problem-solving, and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
