About the Role
St. Ives Specialist Hospital, a leading multi-specialist healthcare provider established in 1996, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory & Supply Chain Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the seamless flow of essential medical and operational materials across our facilities, directly supporting our mission to deliver exceptional family healthcare.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming inventory in the Central Store according to established safety and quality standards.
- Issue approved materials to requesting hospital departments and monitor stock levels to initiate timely replenishment at reorder points.
- Maintain precise inventory records using our enterprise software, conduct routine stock counts, and reconcile variances promptly.
- Support the procurement team by obtaining supplier quotations, preparing pricing comparisons, and following up on purchase orders.
- Ensure the central store remains impeccably organized, clean, and properly labeled while adhering strictly to company compliance policies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in inventory management, store operations, or procurement within a structured environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and exceptional integrity in record-keeping.
