About the Role
New Age Mobile Concepts Limited, Nigeria's foremost provider of innovative mobile phone chargers and accessories, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inventory Supervisor for our South East operations. In this critical role, you will oversee inventory control activities, ensure accurate stock records, and maintain compliance with established supply chain and accounting standards to support our rapid growth and commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and reconcile inventory accounts to ensure absolute accuracy and completeness of all stock records.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts, scheduled cycle counts, and comprehensive stock audits.
- Analyze, investigate, and effectively resolve any inventory discrepancies or stock variances.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory reports and ensure strict compliance with internal policies and supply chain standards.
- Monitor inventory movements closely and identify proactive opportunities for operational process improvement.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Supply Chain, Finance, and Warehouse teams to optimize overall inventory management.
- Support the implementation of advanced inventory control procedures and provide strategic insights for decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications will be considered a strong added advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven professional experience in inventory accounting or inventory control.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and modern inventory management practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
