About the Role
Fadac Resources is a leading human capital solutions provider dedicated to delivering sustainable business impact. We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to join our client's manufacturing and supply chain team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate control, safe storage, and timely issuance of all raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to prevent production downtime and maintain flawless inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the receipt, offloading, and verification of incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Enforce FEFO and FIFO methodologies to manage stock rotation and minimize wastage.
- Ensure every stock movement is accurately recorded in the ERP system on a daily basis.
- Plan and conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock reconciliations.
- Track near-expiry, slow-moving, and damaged stock, reporting findings to management promptly.
- Coordinate the preparation, loading, and dispatch of finished goods in collaboration with the sales and logistics teams.
- Supervise, train, and mentor storekeepers and warehouse staff on safety compliance and inventory best practices.
- Enforce strict health, safety, and housekeeping standards across the warehouse facility.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory or warehouse management within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a supervisory or team-lead role.
- Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of warehousing best practices, stock control, and audit reconciliation.
