About the Role
New Age Mobile Concepts Limited, Nigeria's foremost dealer in innovative mobile phone chargers and accessories, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team in the South East region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring precise inventory records, and safeguarding company assets to support our rapid delivery and customer satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Record all stock receipts and issues accurately in inventory records and systems
- Store items properly, ensuring correct labeling, stacking, and FIFO compliance
- Issue stock only with proper authorization and approved documentation
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete items promptly
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of items requiring replenishment
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the store area
- Prevent stock loss through proper control and security measures
- Prepare and submit routine inventory and stock movement reports
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of storekeeping and inventory experience within the FMCG or consumer electronics sector
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inventory accounting or similar role
- Proven ability in managing warehouses, stores, and inventory systems efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
