About the Role
Career Pool International is currently seeking dynamic and experienced Inventory Officers, specifically for Warehouse Officer and Tank Farm Officer roles, to join our expanding operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining optimal stock levels, guaranteeing product quality standards, and ensuring precise tracking of all inventory movements within our storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor stock levels and implement effective inventory control procedures to prevent unauthorized removal of goods from storage facilities.
- Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory database tracking stock quality, quantities, locations, and product details.
- Prepare accurate daily inventory reports detailing receivables, releases, opening and closing balances, and stock variances.
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical reconciliations against system data to minimize discrepancies and enhance accuracy.
- Send real-time exception reports to supervisors regarding security, facility access, operational practices, and door or tank sealing.
- Utilize inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications to track movement and generate performance reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to streamline warehouse and tank farm operations.
- HND or equivalent in a relevant field; additional education in Supply Chain Management is a strong advantage.
- At least one (1) year of proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
