About the Role

Dangote Group, Africa's most diversified business conglomerate, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining supply chain integrity by monitoring, controlling, and ensuring the absolute accuracy of our material and product inventories to support our large-scale manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across all storage and production facilities.
  • Receive, issue, and record stock movements promptly to prevent operational bottlenecks.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and comprehensive inventory reconciliations.
  • Investigate and report stock variances, discrepancies, and losses immediately.
  • Update inventory data and prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of all raw materials and finished goods.
  • Support internal and external stock audits to maintain financial and operational compliance.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with warehouse, production, and dispatch teams regarding stock requirements.
  • Maintain strict compliance with inventory control procedures and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping standards within all inventory storage and warehouse areas.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in stock reconciliation, auditing, and comprehensive inventory reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
