About the Role
MAX is on a mission to transform Africa's last-mile delivery and online-retail landscape by deploying cutting-edge mobile and web platforms. We seamlessly connect consumers, retail businesses, and independent drivers in real time, eliminating logistics and technology barriers across the continent. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria, ensuring optimal stock management, accurate record-keeping, and seamless inventory flow to support our expanding fleet and refurbishment activities.
Key Responsibilities- Receive new inventory, conducting thorough physical stock counts and updating the ERP platform and relevant tracking sheets.
- Issue parts and engine oil to the refurbishment and maintenance teams while ensuring accurate documentation on Odoo and internal logs.
- Monitor stock reorder levels and calculate replenishment quantities by evaluating internal request patterns and usage trends.
- Conduct weekly stock level reviews and initiate timely purchase requests on Odoo to maintain optimal stock availability.
- Track stock movement, perform regular cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Analyze request trends to identify fast-moving and slow-moving items, preventing capital tie-up.
- Perform additional supply chain and administrative duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in inventory management, warehousing, or stock control.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software (Odoo), and Google Workspace or MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
