About the Role
Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC) is a reputable trading firm specializing in the export of premium-quality raw cocoa beans and cashews from Nigeria. Our expertise in sourcing, quality control, and logistics makes us a trusted partner in the global market. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Officer to join our dynamic team and maintain the seamless flow and accurate recording of our commodities.
Key Responsibilities- Record all receipts, dispatches, transfers, and stock movements accurately and promptly in the inventory system, ensuring alignment with physical movements and supporting documentation.
- Review supplier transactions and supporting documentation for payments to guarantee proper authorization and accurate recording.
- Update lot and batch records promptly as stock moves through receipt, storage, processing, and dispatch to maintain complete traceability.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts, compare physical quantities against system records, and perform necessary reconciliations.
- Track inventory variances, investigate root causes, and report significant discrepancies with recommended corrective actions to management.
- Maintain organized and complete supporting documentation for all transactions, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
- Coordinate closely with the Warehouse, Quality Control, and Procurement teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure unified cross-functional inventory tracking.
- HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications in inventory or stock management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stock management within the agro-commodity or manufacturing sector.
- Strong familiarity with inventory management systems, stock reconciliation practices, and lot traceability.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
