About the Role
Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc is a leading brand in the Nigerian insurance industry, renowned for delivering excellent financial services and innovative risk management solutions. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Annuity Manager to lead our annuity operations, drive business expansion, and deliver sustainable commercial results in line with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the Company's annuity growth strategy to achieve annual premium and income targets.
- Expand market share through innovative sales initiatives, strategic partnerships, and new distribution channels.
- Build and manage strong relationships with Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), corporate employers, brokers, and retiree associations.
- Lead, mentor, and coach the annuity sales team, setting clear KPIs and driving exceptional productivity.
- Collaborate with Actuarial and Product Development teams to enhance product competitiveness and respond to market trends.
- Ensure seamless annuitant onboarding, timely benefit payments, and high standards of customer service delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and risk management standards.
- Manage the annuity budget, monitor portfolio profitability, and prepare accurate business forecasts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Relevant professional insurance qualifications such as ACII or FCII.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant insurance experience, with at least 5 years focused on annuity, life insurance, pensions, or retirement solutions.
- Deep understanding of the Nigerian insurance and pension landscape.
