About the Role
Chowdeck is a fast-growing technology company transforming logistics and food delivery across Nigeria by connecting consumers with their favourite restaurants and vendors. We are looking for an ambitious and data-driven Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations across our darkstore network. In this vital role, you will ensure high product availability, minimize waste, and eliminate stockouts while maintaining strict inventory accuracy across multiple locations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Own inventory accuracy, stock health, and performance across all company darkstore locations.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure continuous product availability while preventing shrinkage and waste.
- Analyze inventory metrics to improve demand forecasting, replenishment processes, and reduce write-offs.
- Investigate inventory variances and lead comprehensive root cause analyses for any stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate regular cycle counts, physical stock counts, and meticulous inventory audits.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Warehouse, and Store Operations teams to optimize handling practices.
- Drive continuous improvements in inventory systems, controls, and support new store launches.
- Proven experience managing inventory, supply chain, or stock operations in retail, e-commerce, or FMCG.
- Highly analytical mindset with exceptional proficiency in handling large datasets and operational reports.
- Strong working knowledge of modern inventory management principles and stock reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills with a proven track record of cross-functional stakeholder management.
