About the Role
AMO Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, a market leader in the Day Old Chicks and poultry sector in Nigeria, is seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Controller to strengthen our financial governance. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting company assets, enforcing compliance with internal policies, and preventing financial fraud across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the accuracy and correctness of all company records through daily call-over reports and rigorous audits.
- Monitor credit sales to ensure proper approvals and maintain a well-controlled payable portfolio.
- Enforce strict adherence to management-approved budgets and ensure I.O.U. disbursements are properly authorized and retired within 48 hours.
- Safeguard company assets including stock, consumables, and fixed assets, while monitoring diesel intake and dispensing to prevent pilferage.
- Conduct early detection and correction of operational errors, shortages, and suppressions.
- Prevent and detect fraud, forgery, and non-compliance with HSE regulations.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive internal control reports to relevant stakeholders and management.
- BSc/HND in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Must possess ICAN ATS Certification or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in internal control, auditing, compliance, or risk management at an officer level.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, business planning, and financial analysis.
