About the Role
Neveah Limited is a leading commodities trading and manufacturing company established in 2014, specializing in the export of solid minerals and agricultural products, alongside our industrial recycling operations. We are currently seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Internal Control Manager to oversee and ensure the effectiveness of internal controls within our Aluminum and Copper Recycling Plant located in Mowe, Ogun State. The successful candidate will implement a robust internal control framework that minimizes financial risks, ensures strict compliance with corporate policies, and drives operational excellence across our manufacturing and recycling processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive internal control systems to safeguard financial integrity and operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, prevent fraud, and establish corrective action plans.
- Plan and execute periodic internal audits across procurement, inventory, production, and financial reporting functions.
- Ensure complete alignment of financial reports with GAAP and IFRS standards while facilitating smooth external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong organizational culture of compliance, risk awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CISA are highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of cognate experience in internal control, auditing, or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated experience within the manufacturing, recycling, or heavy industrial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of established internal control frameworks including COSO, as well as ERP systems like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
