About the Role
AshLuxury is the premier e-commerce destination where style meets luxury, renowned for providing its customers with specially curated high-fashion and cutting-edge designer clothes and accessories. We are currently seeking a dynamic Internal Control Associate to play a critical role in strengthening our operational integrity by ensuring robust internal controls, continuous monitoring, and effective risk mitigation across all business units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct continuous monitoring of business operations to identify risks, inefficiencies, and policy breaches, including weekly reviews of unfulfilled orders and payment requests.
- Validate daily financial transactions, perform monthly sales-to-cash reconciliations, and verify vendor onboarding documentation.
- Participate in quarterly stock count exercises, investigate inventory discrepancies, and review aging reports for slow-moving stock.
- Review system user access, segregation of duties, and data integrity standards to ensure system changes reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to resolve control issues, prepare regular reports, and update Risk and Control Matrices.
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five years of proven experience in Internal Control, Audit, or Finance Operations within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, structured working papers, and familiarity with platforms such as Shopify or POS systems.
- Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of internal control practices, financial controls, and risk management principles.
