Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute comprehensive operational, financial, and compliance audits across various departments.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Prepare comprehensive, objective audit reports detailing findings and recommending actionable corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and internal corporate governance procedures.
- Liaise seamlessly with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and facilitating annual audit processes.
- Investigate operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to drive cost savings and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline.
- Active professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional auditing experience within a reputable firm or corporate environment.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in modern auditing software, Microsoft Excel, and enterprise resource planning systems.
