About the Role
Genesis Group is a leading Nigerian conglomerate spanning hospitality, entertainment, and industrial catering. We are looking for a reliable, analytical, and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team and manage financial records while ensuring strict financial control and accurate reporting across our business units.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, and accounts payable or receivable documentation.
- Monitor daily sales, operational expenses, and cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity.
- Reconcile daily sales reports and diverse payment transactions efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and periodic management reports.
- Monitor departmental budgets, inventory costs, and overhead expenditures.
- Process authorized payments and maintain transparent financial documentation.
- Implement and enforce internal financial controls to guarantee corporate accountability.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proven work experience in an accounting role, preferably within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors.
- Solid understanding of modern bookkeeping principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard accounting software.
- Strong numerical aptitude, analytical capability, and organizational skills.
