About the Role
Singapore View Hotel and Suites is a premier hospitality establishment located in the vibrant heart of Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State. We are currently seeking a diligent and analytical Internal Auditor to join our professional team. In this vital role, you will help maintain financial integrity, evaluate internal controls, and ensure operational efficiency across all departments within our hotel and suites.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and report on internal audit operational and financial reviews.
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal control systems to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
- Review hotel revenue streams, inventory management, procurement processes, and payroll systems.
- Conduct physical stock counts and verify fixed assets regularly.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and actionable recommendations for management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Nigerian tax laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors and assist in implementing corrective action plans.
- Minimum of OND, HND, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Internal Auditor, Accountant, or similar finance role within the hospitality or service industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and strong communication skills.
- Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Nnewi, Anambra State.
