About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is seeking a meticulous and driven Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of our financial controls, operational processes, and compliance procedures while helping to safeguard company assets and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive internal audit plans based on identified business risks.
- Conduct financial, operational, cash, procurement, inventory, and payroll audits.
- Review bank reconciliations, revenue records, and fixed asset registers.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and potential fraud risks.
- Prepare clear, objective audit reports and recommend practical corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Stores, HR, and other departments to ensure policy adherence.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in internal audit, external audit, or compliance.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, ANAN, or CISA is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced auditing tools.
