About the Role
Proforce Limited, a global leader in defence solutions and armoured vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a diligent and analytical Internal Audit Officer to join our dynamic team in Ode Remo, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our assets, optimizing engineering processes, and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and company standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive internal audits across Finance, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Stores, and Maintenance departments.
- Review operational and engineering workflows to identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential risks.
- Evaluate adherence to company policies, industry engineering standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Perform physical verification and inspection of company assets, equipment, raw materials, and inventory records.
- Identify irregularities, operational waste, and potential financial leakages to protect company resources.
- Prepare accurate audit working papers, comprehensive findings, and actionable reports for management review.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departmental heads to track the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable internal audit experience within an automobile, engineering, or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong practical knowledge and comprehension of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes are strictly required.
- Proficiency in analyzing technical documentation, production logs, inventory records, and process specifications.
- Exceptional analytical, investigative, problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Possession of relevant professional accounting or audit certifications will be an added advantage.
