About the Role
First Bank of Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Information & Cybersecurity (ICS) Security Standard Officer to join our dynamic Information and Cybersecurity risk and governance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, enforcing, and maintaining robust security policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements including ISO27001, PCI DSS, and overarching cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard Nigeria's premier financial institution.
Key Responsibilities- Perform security requirement validation and documentation reviews to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee independent Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
- Monitor organizational compliance with established information and cybersecurity policies, baselines, and procedures.
- Assess emerging threats and vulnerabilities across electronic banking products, technology platforms, and critical information assets.
- Manage internal and external security audits while driving timely corrective actions for any identified deficiencies.
- Develop comprehensive metrics to measure the effectiveness and performance of the bank's cybersecurity risk management processes.
- Review periodic PCI DSS compliance reports and report gaps to stakeholders for prompt remedial action.
- Minimum of a First Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Possession of recognized professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Implementer, or ISO27032 Cyber Security Lead Manager.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in conducting security assessments and compliance frameworks including PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and NIST.
- Deep understanding of banking operations, software development lifecycles (SDLC), and enterprise security risk management.
