About the Role
Join RachamHub Limited as an In-House Accountant and play a critical role in managing our financial operations. RachamHub is a dynamic logistics company delivering innovative, reliable, and secure delivery services across Lagos, Sango, Ijebu-Ode, Abeokuta, and surrounding areas. As our In-House Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights that support organizational growth and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update company financial records with accuracy and precision
- Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely salary payments and correct statutory deductions
- Perform account reconciliations including bank and ledger reconciliations
- Conduct account scrubbing to identify and correct financial data errors
- Handle taxation processes, including PAYE management and tax return filing
- Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets for organizational financial planning
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Support internal controls and assist in audit processes
- Execute additional finance-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Office-based position with standard working hours
- Extended hours may be required during audit and financial reporting periods
