Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective IGCSE Chemistry lessons in accordance with the British curriculum standards.
  • Develop comprehensive schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate academic records.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and inquiry-based learning.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations, ensuring high academic achievement.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc, or equivalent degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience delivering the IGCSE Chemistry curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of British educational standards and modern pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Passionate about teaching with a proven track record of motivating students to excel academically.
