Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive Igbo language lessons aligned with the approved school curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs and growth.
  • Create a vibrant, inclusive, and culturally enriching classroom environment that encourages active student participation.
  • Design instructional resources and integrate innovative teaching methods to make language learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration on extracurricular activities, cultural events, and school programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development in accordance with school policies.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education, Igbo Language, Arts, or a related field.
  • Mandatory possession of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification.
  • Proven professional teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
  • Possession of higher professional certificates or advanced degrees in education will be an added advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a genuine passion for teaching.
