About the Role

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of highly trained professionals committed to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, neurological status, and hemodynamic parameters continuously.
  • Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products as prescribed by physicians.
  • Manage complex medical equipment including mechanical ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
  • Assess patient conditions promptly and initiate life-saving interventions during emergency situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with doctors, specialists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
  • Provide empathetic support, education, and reassurance to patients and their families during critical times.

Qualifications
  • Valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.Sc. Nursing) or Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
  • Post-basic certification in Intensive Care Nursing or Critical Care is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of active clinical nursing experience within an ICU setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under extreme pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
