About the Role
TAAS College, Ibadan, a reputable co-educational institution established in the Islamic tradition, is seeking a passionate and skilled ICT Tutor to join our dedicated academic team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive computer science and technology instruction, equipping students with essential digital skills in a serene and modern learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and structured ICT lessons to students in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Design practical computer laboratory sessions to enhance students' hands-on technical skills.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic improvement.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic school hardware, software, and laboratory network systems.
- Promote digital citizenship, online safety, and responsible technology use among students.
- Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of an NCE, HND, or B.Sc in Computer Science, Education (ICT), or a related discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in an ICT or computer science role within a recognized educational institution.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications, programming fundamentals, and digital learning tools.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Relevant professional certifications and teaching licenses will be an added advantage.
