Victrius Academy is a newly established, forward-thinking educational institution located in the vibrant Hajj Camp area of Gwagwalada, Abuja. As an ICT Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our students' digital literacy and fostering a passion for technology from an early stage.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver comprehensive, engaging, and interactive ICT lesson plans in line with the school curriculum.
- Introduce students to fundamental computer operations, programming basics, digital citizenship, and relevant software applications.
- Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback to support their continuous development.
- Maintain and manage the school computer laboratory to ensure all hardware and software are fully functional and safe for student use.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate technology across various subjects and school activities.
- Organize extracurricular tech clubs, coding sessions, or computer-based competitions to stimulate student interest.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior in accordance with school policies.
- Minimum qualification of a B.Ed, B.Sc, B.A, PGDE, NCE, HND, or ND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related relevant subject area.
- Proven teaching experience in an ICT or computer science role within a recognized educational institution is an added advantage.
- Strong passion for teaching and mentoring young learners with patience and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in using modern educational technology, learning management systems, and standard office software.
- Residency in or close proximity to Gwagwalada, Abuja is highly desirable.
