About the Role
Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) is a prominent network of science-oriented, co-educational day and boarding schools in Nigeria. Since our founding in 1998, we have been committed to delivering academic excellence from the creche to the senior secondary level. Managed by the First Surat Group with branches across six Nigerian states, we pride ourselves on fostering innovation, critical thinking, and technological proficiency among our students. We are currently looking for a passionate, dedicated, and qualified ICT Teacher to join our esteemed team of educators.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, comprehensive, and interactive ICT lessons to students in alignment with the approved curriculum.
- Design and update lesson plans that incorporate modern technological trends, practical coding, digital literacy, and computer applications.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and technical skill development.
- Manage the school computer laboratory, ensuring all hardware, software, and network systems are functional and safe for student use.
- Supervise practical computer sessions and guide students through hands-on troubleshooting and project-based learning.
- Participate in school extracurricular activities, tech clubs, and assist in preparing students for internal and external ICT competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to integrate technology across various subjects and enhance the overall learning experience.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education (Computer Science), or a related discipline.
- Proven professional teaching experience as an ICT Teacher within a recognized educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, programming languages, and web design.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills with a passion for teaching young learners.
- Recognized teaching certifications (such as TRCN in Nigeria) will be an added advantage.
