About the Role
Bass 99.3 FM, Osogbo's premier commercial radio station known for the slogan Where Entertainment Meets Humanity, is looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy ICT Officer to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless operation of our broadcast technology, computer networks, and digital communication systems, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier entertainment and information to our listeners across Osun State and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the station's IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, routers, and local area networks.
- Provide technical support for broadcast equipment, studio automation software, and transmission systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to prevent broadcast downtime.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, data backups, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Assist the production and programming teams with digital tools, streaming platforms, and IT-related projects.
- Maintain an inventory of all ICT assets and recommend hardware or software upgrades as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, network administration, or broadcast engineering.
- Strong knowledge of radio broadcast systems, audio over IP, and studio automation software is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, network configuration, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a live broadcast environment.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Osogbo, Osun State.
