We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and tech-savvy ICT/Computer Teacher to join our dedicated academic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping students' technological literacy and preparing them for a digital future.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Computer Studies and ICT lessons to secondary school students in accordance with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and practical hands-on computer laboratory sessions.
- Assess and evaluate students' practical and theoretical progress, providing constructive feedback and timely report card grades.
- Maintain and oversee the school ICT laboratory, ensuring computer systems and software are functional and safe for student use.
- Guide students through basic computer troubleshooting, coding fundamentals, and relevant digital productivity tools.
- Participate actively in school extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., B.Ed., or B.A.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education (Computer Science), or a related discipline.
- Must be a professionally trained teacher with a valid teaching qualification (e.g., TRCN certification is an added advantage).
- Proven passion for teaching and mentoring young minds in a secondary school environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Must reside within Idimu, Ejigbo, Ikotun, Igando, Iyana-Ipaja, or immediate environs in Lagos State for ease of commute.
