In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for our esteemed clients. Key Responsibilities- Identifying potential maintenance risks on various HVAC equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems accurately.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, alongside performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently when required.
- Providing technical direction and valuable on-the-job training to junior staff.
- Keeping daily logs and accurate records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring full compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Minimum of Trade Test 1-3 certification.
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with standard HVAC protocols.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and complex work plans.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and maintain flexibility to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.
