About the Role
Global Property & Facilities International Ltd (GPFI) is a leading African-focused real estate services firm specializing in integrated facilities management, property services, and building automation. We manage over 0.8 million square meters of industrial, commercial, residential, and retail spaces across multiple countries. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Nigeria and ensure optimal climate control and operational efficiency for our prestigious properties.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections to identify issues, prevent breakdowns, and ensure optimal energy efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems using specialized testing equipment and replace defective components.
- Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and resolve critical HVAC issues swiftly to minimize tenant disruption.
- Ensure all installation and maintenance work complies with relevant health, safety, and industry standards.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test Certificate, or relevant certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably within the facilities management or real estate sector.
- Strong working knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical wiring, and HVAC control systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a high level of reliability and punctuality.
